The Cleveland Clinic -

Hepatitis C is one of the most important causes of chronic liver disease in the United States. Dr. Poordad will provide guidance on which at-risk populations should be tested, as well as properly interpreting the test results. A primary focus of the book will be on treatment, with detailed information presented on the management of complex antiviral regimens. Sections will present use of the new direct-acting antivirals, including detailed discussion of the pivotal clinical trial results of these agents and their incorporation into current treatment protocols. This handbook will provide expert guidance on the management of treatment side effects and treatment failures. Coming in Summer 2011.
